Deeptrade FAQ

Your comprehensive guide to getting started and troubleshooting

Getting Started & Account Setup

How do I create a Deeptrade account?

Creating an account is straightforward:

  1. Visit the Deeptrade platform and click "Sign Up"
  2. Enter your email address and create a strong password
  3. Verify your email address through the confirmation link
  4. Complete your profile with basic information
  5. Start with paper trading to learn the platform

What is paper trading, and why should I start with it?

Paper trading allows you to practice trading with virtual money, simulating real market conditions without risking your capital. We strongly recommend spending at least 2-4 weeks on paper trading to:

  • Understand how the AI signals work
  • Test different risk settings
  • Familiarize yourself with the platform features
  • Build confidence in your strategy before going live

Which exchanges does Deeptrade support?

Deeptrade currently supports integration with major exchanges:

  • Binance
  • Bybit
  • Bitget
  • OKX

All trading is powered by Solana blockchain for maximum security and low fees.

Do I need API keys to use Deeptrade?

Yes, you'll need to create API keys for your exchange accounts to enable auto-trading. Here's how to create them:

  1. Log into your exchange account
  2. Navigate to API Management (usually under Account Settings)
  3. Create a new API key with these permissions: Read, Trade, Cancel
  4. Enter the API key and secret into Deeptrade's credentials section

Security Note: Never share your API secrets. Deeptrade never asks for your withdrawal permissions—only trade and read access.

Trading Mechanics

How do the trading signals work?

Deeptrade generates signals through machine learning algorithms that analyze:

  • Historical price patterns
  • Technical indicators (Moving Averages, RSI, MACD, etc.)
  • Volume data
  • Market regime conditions

Each signal includes: Direction (BUY, SELL, HOLD), Entry Price, Stop Loss, Take Profit, and Confidence Score (0-100%).

What's the difference between auto-trading and manual trading?

Auto-Trading

Deeptrade executes trades automatically when signals meet your confidence threshold. Set it and forget it—ideal for passive investors.

Manual Trading

You receive signals and choose which ones to execute. You maintain full control over every decision.

How do I enable auto-trading?

  1. Navigate to the Auto-Trading settings
  2. Select your preferred strategy (Standard or Neural AI)
  3. Set your confidence threshold (10% for Standard, 50% for Neural AI)
  4. Choose your risk parameters
  5. Toggle auto-trading ON
  6. Start with paper auto-trading before going live

Can I use both Standard and Neural AI strategies?

Yes! Many traders use both: Neural AI for larger, higher-conviction positions and Standard for smaller, exploratory trades. You can configure different risk settings for each strategy.

What is the minimum account balance required?

Deeptrade doesn't enforce a minimum balance, but we recommend:

  • Paper Trading: Any amount (virtual)
  • Live Trading: At least $500 for meaningful position sizing
  • Optimal: $1,000+ for proper risk management with diversification

Risk Parameters & Settings

What risk settings can I configure?

Deeptrade offers comprehensive risk management controls:

  • Position Size (recommended: 1-5%)
  • Stop Loss (recommended: 2-3%)
  • Take Profit (recommended: 4-8%)
  • Max Open Positions
  • Confidence Threshold
  • Daily Loss Limit

How does the confidence threshold work?

The confidence threshold filters signals based on their strength:

Standard Strategy: Default 10% minimum (will execute on almost any signal)

Neural AI Strategy: Default 50% minimum (only executes on high-conviction signals)

Higher thresholds = fewer trades but higher quality. Lower thresholds = more trades but more potential noise.

What is the break-even feature?

The break-even (BE) feature automatically moves your stop loss to your entry price (plus a small fee buffer) when the trade moves favorably by a certain percentage. This ensures you never lose money on a winning trade.

How does partial profit taking work?

When a trade reaches 50% of its take profit target, Deeptrade automatically closes 50% of your position. This secures partial profits immediately, reduces emotional stress, and allows the remaining position to continue riding the trend.

Technical Troubleshooting

Why aren't I receiving trading signals?

Check these common issues:

  • Notification Settings: Ensure push notifications or email alerts are enabled
  • Signal Generation: Signals are generated hourly—check back if no signals match your criteria
  • Confidence Threshold: Your threshold might be too high for current market conditions
  • Exchange Connection: Verify API credentials are valid and not expired

My auto-trading isn't executing trades. What's wrong?

IssueSolution
Confidence below thresholdLower your threshold or wait for stronger signals
API permissions incorrectRe-create API keys with Trade permission
Insufficient exchange balanceFund your exchange account
Exchange rate limitsWait and try again (common on Binance)

Why do some trades show as "HOLD"?

HOLD signals indicate the AI determined the current setup doesn't meet sufficient criteria for action. This is normal—Deeptrade prioritizes capital preservation over forced action.

Security

Is my data secure?

Yes. Deeptrade implements multiple security layers:

  • Encryption: All data encrypted at rest and in transit
  • API Key Security: Keys are encrypted in our database
  • Two-Factor Authentication: Available for all accounts
  • Regular Security Audits: Conducted quarterly

What permissions should I give my API keys?
